Worcester Worcester’s ancient Cathedral houses the tomb of King John who signed the Magna Carta in 1215. The city is also the home of the world famous Worcestershire Sauce (invented inadvertedly by two local chemists, Lea and Perrin, in 1835).
The Shop This shop is built on the actual site of Lea and Perrin’s famous discovery of their spicy sauce, found after happening upon a bottle of an earlier attempt, presumed to have been a failure, but which had matured during its 2-year stay in the house’s cellar.
